McMahon Design and Management became involved as Project Managers in January 2001. The full extent of the problems was defined and a strategy, a budget and a programme were developed for the requisite conservation works. The Cathedral is listed as a “protected structure” and compliance with the procedures required in these circumstances was a significant issue.
